Egg Parachute Pictures

Mrs. McLaughlin, Mrs. Golden, and Mrs. White carried our parachutes outside in big buckets.

We waited patiently for Mrs. Lewis and Mr. B. to go onto the roof of the school.

We got to go get our parachute when it was our turn.

Some parachutes floated down slowly.

We had to chase some of parachutes to catch them.

A couple of us caught them in the air.

Sometimes they went in the bushes. Those were tricky to get out of the sticky bushes.

We got excited to see if our egg survived the fall or if it broke.

"Look! It didn't break!"

We watched a lot of parachutes fall off the roof to the ground.

Mrs. Lewis and Mr. B. dropped our parachutes one by one.

Another egg that didn't break!

We used lots of things to hold our egg, even peanut butter.

The cotton balls cushioned the egg so it didn't break.

It was fun to watch the different parachutes fall.

We used lots of different things to make our parachutes like plastic bags, string, balloons, cups, boxes, cotton balls, and baskets.

This parachute could also be worn as a hat.

Some parachutes were complicated.

Some were very simple.

We had some with decorations also.

This egg is happy he didn't break.

After we came inside we talked about our egg parachute experiment.

We made notes about what we learned.

We used our notes to write about our egg parachutes. Read our stories here.
